In advance of the November 5 election, the Sonoma County Office of Education will host afree information sessionon Thursday, June 27, from 5:30pm to 7pm for any community members interested in running for their local school boards. REGISTER HERE Attendees will learn firsthand what it is like to serve on a school board from a panel of current board members who span the county and possess a spectrum of insight. In addition to the panel discussion, audience members will have an opportunity to hear from the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters about important candidate deadlines and requirements. Light refreshments will be available.
