This long skinny park started out as a freeway to go over Spring Lake Park. That idea never happened. In 2009 a group of residents started the Southwest Greenway Campaign.
Thea Hensel, the chair of this grassroots committee, will tell the story of how a group of dedicated citizens can get things done.
