With summer fast approaching, we are partnering with CAL FIRE and local fire chiefs to host our annual Town Hall on Wildfire Preparedness, Response and Prevention.
This interactive virtual meeting that you won't want to miss. Whether you live in Hoopa or Healdsburg, Clearlake or Covelo, it's critical to know how firefighters are working to prepare for wildfire season and what YOU can do to make your community more wildfire safe.
We'll be joined by CAL FIRE Northern Region Chief George Morrris, Santa Rosa Fire Chief Scott Westrope, and Lake County Fire Protection District Chief Willie Sapeta to discuss the critical investments California has recently made to increase firefighting resources, better protect at-risk communities, and manage a hotter climate and 365-day fire season. These fire experts will also provide a critical forecast into this year's wildfire outlook, while detailing community response networks and the most effective steps that neighbors can take to prepare for wildfires this year.
The town hall will be livestreamed here.
